How Kestel works

The borrower locks Stock Tokens. A lender supplies USDG. The borrower repays principal plus the chosen fee by the due date to reclaim the collateral.

The transaction

Fixed-term USDG loans against Stock Token collateral. Amount, fee and due date are visible before either side signs. Each action requires wallet confirmation. The app reads the on-chain position before presenting available actions.

Material conditions

If the borrower does not repay by the due date, only the lender may claim the escrowed collateral. There is no price-based liquidation or oracle. The lender can lose value if collateral falls; the borrower can lose collateral if repayment is late.

Testnet assets

The current app runs only on Robinhood Chain Testnet (chain ID 46630). “tUSDG” and “tSTOCK” are freely mintable demonstration tokens with no financial value. They are not canonical USDG or Robinhood Stock Tokens.

This testnet deployment reuses the previously tested OsvellLoan implementation. Source code is in the local project workspace. This prototype has not undergone an independent security audit and is not offered for real collateral.
